Insurgent

Following the assault on Abnegation by Jeanine's mind-controlled Dauntless soldiers, Eric and his platoon are searching through the wreckage of Abnegation for an artifact, a box of unknown origin containing the symbols of all the factions. Upon recovery, the box is taken to Erudite, and Jeanine claims that it contains a data from the city's founders, and the means to end the Divergence problem. However, only a Divergent can open the box, and she orders that all Divergents be hunted down and captured.

Tris, Four, Peter, and Caleb are hiding out in Amity territory. After Tris and Peter get into a scuffle, Johanna, the leader of the Amity faction, warns Tris that her obsession with revenge will consume her. Soon after, Eric and his fleet arrive to test all the occupants for Divergence. Peter gives up the group's location as Tris, Four, and Caleb escape and board a train headed into Factionless territory.

During the ensuing fight with Factionless aboard the train, Caleb makes his first kill. Horrified by what he has done, he watches helplessly as Tris is attacked by one of the Factionless. Four reveals his true name, Tobias Eaton, to the Factionless who reply that they have been searching for him.

Four, Tris and Caleb are given safe passage into the heart of Factionless. There, Tris and Caleb discover that the Factionless' leader is Four's mother, Evelyn Johnson-Eaton. Evelyn suggests that Dauntless and Factionless should join their forces against Erudite, but the discussion becomes an argument about Evelyn's true intentions and her past relationship with her son. The next morning, the three leave Factionless for Candor to meet up with the remaining Dauntless. During the trek, Caleb tells Tris that he cannot continue with them, and goes into different direction.

When Tris and Four arrive at Candor, they are welcomed by their Dauntless brethren, and Tris is not entirely truthful with Christina about what happened to Will. Soon, however, they are arrested and brought before Jack Kang, the leader of Candor, who doesn't believe that Jeanine would go so far as to fraudulently make Tris and Four wanted for attacking Abnegation. Four tries to reason with Jack, inquiring about the fairness of a trial in Erudite as opposed to one in Candor, and then requests the trial be conducted in Candor through truth serum.

During the trial, Four admits that he joined Dauntless to escape his father's abuse, and he was about to leave Dauntless to be factionless after a last group of initiates, but he fell in love with Tris and decided to protect her. Tris tearfully admits her guilt in shooting Will, angering Christina. Candor is then attacked by Dauntless traitors led by Eric, and many people are shot with new simulation serum. Tris and Uriah, who is revealed to also be Divergent, are captured by Eric. Eric tests Tris and discovers that Tris' Divergence is 100%, making her the perfect subject to open the box. They are then rescued by Four and Candor, and Eric is taken into custody where Four executes him. In Erudite, Jeanine, frustrated that none of the Divergents she has used to open the box have survived, is approached by Peter who pledges his loyalty to Erudite. Peter suggests that the best way to get Tris to surrender is to play with her humanity.

Back in Factionless, Four reluctantly agrees with Evelyn that war is inevitable and they need to prepare. The long term sim serum is activated by Jeanine, causing Marlene, Christina and Hector to stand on a ledge chanting that Tris Prior must turn herself in, or more death will follow, over and over, as they step closer and closer to the edge. Tris and Tori climb the sides as fast as they can, and rescue two of the three, but Marlene plunges to her death. Overcome by guilt, Tris decides to turn herself in. She spends the night with Four, who thinks he has changed her mind, but she leaves in the early hours as Evelyn silently looks on from a window, to turn herself in to Erudite.

The moment she steps through the Erudite screen, she is surrounded and arrested. Jeanine then subjects her to each of the sim trials of the Factions. Tris is almost killed in the process, and Jeanine reluctantly stops the sim, allowing Tris to rest in a cell with her brother Caleb, who is now working with Jeanine. Caleb tells Tris that he is being selfless by turning his only sister over to the Erudites for what he believes is the greater good. Peter, who is now the guard assigned to Tris, jabs her in the back with an injection while escorting her back to the chamber, after she discovers that Four is also captive in the facility.

Once again, Tris goes through the simulations, but before it can be completed, her vital signs drop and she appears to die. Jeanine becomes distraught for a moment, then resigned to the fact that she must once again find another Divergent. Tris's body is disconnected from the sim cables and wheeled over to Four's cell. In a vicious display of gloating, Peter shows Four Tris's lifeless body. Tris then awakens with a deep breath, and Peter assists Four in overpowering the guards, revealing that he is helping them in return for Tris' sparing his life in the sim. Peter then goes to the control room to change the security parameters in order to allow access to the sim room for Four and Tris, who now realizes what the box is and why she needs to open it.

Tris successfully opens the box, and, much to the chagrin of Jeanine, the message inside informs everyone in the control room and testing area that they, the entire walled city, are an experiment, that the Divergents are evidence of the success of that experiment, and the world is waiting outside for them to return to humanity. Jeanine, realizing the box and its revelation will be the undoing of her power, orders the box buried and Four and Tris immediately executed. Before this occurs, the Factionless army hits the Erudite facility, blowing the doors off the control and sim rooms and killed Max before he can execute Tris and Four. Jeanine and Caleb are arrested, and Tris is hailed as a hero by the masses, eager to explore the world beyond the wall.

As Jeanine looks out from her cell, she states that after 200 years since the city was enclosed, there is no telling what awaits them beyond it. Evelyn appears behind her, and tells her that she will never find out, before shooting Jeanine in the back of the head.

Based on my opinion, if fraction system is really implied in our real life , it will gives both pros and cons . But I think it will gives more bad impacts than goods. If human is classified based on the fraction, the human is not really human.Actually , we as human must have all the fraction in ourselves in order to be a complete human . As human , we need dautless fraction to be brave in facing challenges in life , erudite to make a wise decision in life , abnegation in instill love towards other people by helping them , we need candor to be an honest people and amity to create a peaceful life.

Kingsman : The Secret Service 

During a raid in the Middle East in 1997, a probationary secret agentsacrifices himself to save his team. Feeling guilt over the loss of his comrade, Harry Hart, code-named "Galahad," personally delivers a bravery medal to the agent's widow, Michelle Unwin, and his young son, Gary "Eggsy", saying that if they ever need help, they should call the phone number on the back of the medal and deliver a coded message.

Seventeen years later, Professor James Arnold is kidnapped by unknown assailants, led by Internet billionaire Richmond Valentine and his henchwoman Gazelle. One of Hart's compatriots, "Lancelot," attempts to stage a rescue, but fails. Valentine, known for his philanthropy, continues to meet with various heads of state and VIPs; some of whom go missing afterwards. He also announces a giveaway of SIM cards, granting free cellular and Internet access.

In London, Eggsy is now an unemployed young adult living with his mother, infant half-sister, and abusive stepfather Dean. Despite being intelligent and capable, he left training for the Royal Marines and lives an aimless life. After being arrested for stealing a car and taking it for a joyride, Eggsy calls the number on the back of the medal. Hart arranges for his release and tells Eggsy about the existence of Kingsman, a secret intelligence agency for which both he and Eggsy's late father worked. In the wake of Lancelot's death, the agency opens a vacancy for a new agent, and Eggsy agrees to apply. He joins a group of other candidates, including a woman named Roxy. Training is overseen by "Merlin," a senior Kingsman. The candidates are eliminated one by one until Eggsy and Roxy emerge as the final two. However, Eggsy fails his final test, and Roxy becomes the new Lancelot.

During this time, Kingsman have been investigating Valentine in connection with the VIP disappearances and notes that Arnold is no longer missing. Hart tracks down Arnold and confronts him about his abduction. A chip implanted in Arnold's head explodes, killing him; Hart is injured during his escape from unknown assailants. Undeterred, Hart poses as a billionaire and dines with Valentine to try to discern his plans.

Hart tracks Valentine to an obscure hate group church in Kentucky, where Valentine and Gazelle are conducting a test. They broadcast a signal to his SIM cards, causing everyone in the church, including Hart, to become uncontrollably violent. A mass brawl breaks out, with Hart the sole survivor, while Eggsy, Merlin and Arthur—the Kingsman's leader—watch via video link. Valentine approaches him, and they discuss his plan: to broadcast the signal worldwide, using his satellite network to cause a massive culling of the human race. Only a select few that Valentine has deemed worthy of living—those who have sided with him and thus received the protective microchips in their head, and the VIPs he kidnapped—will be spared. Having revealed his plan, Valentine kills Hart.

Eggsy returns to the Kingsman headquarters, where he discovers that Arthur is one of Valentine’s converts. Arthur explains Valentine's views: humanity is akin to a virus, global warming is the Earth's equivalent of a fever, and Valentine intends to do something about the problem before the virus kills the host. After avoiding Arthur’s attempt to kill him—killing the group leader as he does so—Eggsy teams up with Roxy and Merlin. Roxy pilots a high-altitude balloon vehicle into the stratosphere to disrupt Valentine's satellite network with a missile, while Eggsy and Merlin directly assault Valentine’s mountain bunker. Roxy knocks out the satellite and Eggsy fights his way through Valentine’s security forces, while Merlin detonates the security chips, killing all who were part of Valentine's plan. Eggsy then fights and defeats Gazelle before killing Valentine and saving the world. In a mid-credits scene, Eggsy, now a full Kingsman, reaches out to his mother, offering her a nicer house and a chance to get away from Dean.

The character that I love the most is Harry Hart because for me he is extremely amazing. With a dapper guy appearance , he is a responsible guy when he willingly go to see Eggsy 's mother to tell about her husband death and want to give help in exchange for the bad news. However , she refuses to accept the help .Harry also is a brave man as he bravely see the bad guy alone although he may sacrifices his life. His words 'manners maketh man ' seriously give me a strong impact in life. He inspired me to be a better person with a good manners.

movie review week 3

INTO THE WOODS

A Baker and his Wife wish for a child but suffer under a curse laid upon the Baker's family by a Witch who found the Baker's father robbing her garden when his mother was pregnant. The Baker's father also stole some beans which caused the Witch's mother to punish her with the curse of ugliness. The Witch offers to lift the curse, but only if the Baker and his Wife obtain four critical items for her: a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold.

The Witch's demands eventually bring the Baker and his Wife into contact with Jack, who is selling his beloved cow Milky White and to whom the Baker offers magic beans left him by his father (which were stolen from the Witch) which grow into a large beanstalk; with Red Riding Hood, whose ruby cape the couple notices when she stops to buy sweets on her way to grandmother's house; with Rapunzel, the Witch's adopted daughter whose tower the Baker's Wife passes in the woods; and with Cinderella, who also runs into the Baker's Wife while fleeing from the pursuing Prince.

After a series of failed attempts and misadventures, the Baker and his Wife finally are able to gather the items necessary to break the spell. Meanwhile, each of the other characters receive their "happy endings": Cinderella and Rapunzel marry their Princes; Jack provides for his mother by stealing riches from the Giant in the sky, and kills the pursuing Giant by cutting down the beanstalk; Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother are saved from the Big Bad Wolf by the Baker; and the Witch regains her youth and beauty after drinking the potion.

However, each of the characters learns their "happily ever after" is not so happy: the Baker is worried he is a poor father to his newborn baby; Cinderella is disenchanted by royal life; Rapunzel is constantly scared of the outside world; and the Witch learns that she has lost her powers with her restored youth. The growth of a second beanstalk from the last remaining magic bean allows the Giant's Wife to climb down and threaten the kingdom and its inhabitants if they do not deliver Jack in retribution for killing her husband. Meanwhile, what the characters did to achieve their happy endings continue to haunt them: Cinderella's Prince kisses the Baker's Wife who soon dies after falling off a cliff while fleeing the Giant's Wife; The Witch loses Rapunzel forever when she runs off with her prince in spite; Cinderella and the Prince break up after she hears of his infidelity with the Baker's Wife; and Red Riding Hood's Mother and Grandmother, along with Jack's Mother, are killed in the Giant's Wife's rampage.

In the aftermath, the surviving characters debate the morality of handing Jack over, and soon quickly blame each other for their individual actions that led to the tragedy, ultimately blaming the Witch. She throws away her remaining beans, reenacting her mother's curse and disappears, leaving the rest of the group to their fate.

The Baker, Cinderella, Jack, and Red Riding Hood resolve to kill the threatening Giant's Wife, though Cinderella and the Baker try to explain to the distraught Red Riding Hood and Jack the complicated morality of retribution and revenge. The Giant's Wife is killed, and the characters move forward with their ruined lives: the Baker, thinking of his Wife, is determined to be a good father; Cinderella leaves the Prince and decides to help the Baker; and Jack and Red Riding Hood, now orphans, live with the Baker and Cinderella. The Baker begins to tell their story to his son—"Once upon a time..."

  

Based on my opinion, I will not watch this movie again because I just hate the musical concept in this movie. This is because I am the people who will fall asleep and bored with such musical theme. Besides , the movie plot is so flat and no climax  in the movie. Too many characters also caused me to be confused with the storyline. For me , this movie is like a parody for all the fairytale  movie. The ending also is not interesting as the movie let the viewers hanging and then the movie just end like that.
